I am Kunal Chauhan, a freelance web designer and developer operating under the name Kunal Designs, based in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, and protect the personal information you share with me through this website.

When you fill in the contact form on this website, I may collect:

• Your phone number or WhatsApp number (if provided)

• Your project details, budget range, and timeline

I do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, government ID numbers, or health-related data.

I use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your project enquiry
• Provide a quote, proposal, or recommendation
• Communicate with you about your project throughout our working relationship
• Send occasional service updates or newsletters (only if you opted in)

I will never use your information for any purpose other than those listed above without asking for your explicit consent first.

4. How long I keep your data

I retain enquiry information for a maximum of 2 years from the date of your last contact, or for the duration of our working relationship, whichever is longer. After this period, your data is permanently deleted.

If you did not proceed with a project, your enquiry details are deleted within 12 months.

5. Who I share your data with

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

I may share limited data with the following service providers who help me run this website and communicate with you:

• Hosting provider — to run and secure this website
• Email service — to send and receive project-related emails (e.g. Google Workspace)
• Contact form plugin — to receive and store form submissions (e.g. WPForms or CF7 in WordPress)

All third-party services I use are required to handle your data securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
